Easter 2011

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter.  I couldn't have asked for a more blessed one than being able to celebrate our 1st Easter with my kids, husband and loved ones.  It was a great day at our house filled with faith, food and family.   Thank you Jesus for your never ending love, guidance and for our beautiful boys Jayson and Jordan!

1st Day of Pre-School

Today is Jayson and Jordan's 1st day of pre-school.   Mommy has been a mess since last night.    I was all teary eyed writing their names on their lunch box and back pack and I couldn't sleep.....  :'(  You would've  thought it was me going to school!

Well, the only one that was a mess was me because this morning my guys got up, got ready for school and Jim and I dropped them off.  There was no drama, no crying.....Jayson held his teacher's hand going into the classroom and said "Bye Mommy!"  Jordan walked in his class and typical Jordan being all about getting his eat on....pulled out the chair at one of the tables and said, "EAT!"

Wacko Mommy will try to refrain from calling the school every 15 minutes! ;)

Commentary from a 4 yr old.....

OK.....Keep all the comments to yourself about my big hair, Jim's hair, the two tarantulas I had for eyebrows (obviously before I discovered waxing or threading), our matching outfits etc etc....

This picture hangs on the wall in our bedroom ( Jim and Jasmin circa 1990)...the boys check out the pictures through out the house every day and proudly proclaim that it's Mommy and Daddy.   Jayson who typically is the one that says who everyone in the picture is had additional commentary this morning.  While jumping on Mommy and Daddy's bed (while Van Halen's Jump was playing in the background....ROCK ON DUDES!).....Jayson stops and points at the picture.  I ask him like I do every morning, "Who is that?"  And he answers, "Mommy and Daddy" but he then looked at it again and said "Mommy hair and Daddy hair" followed by the mischievous 4 year old hee hee hee laugh! 

WHAT????  I said to myself.  I thought I had a few years before they started making fun of us!  I guess making fun of your parents starts at age 4 these days.  GREAT!!!!

Jayson's good time making fun of Mom and Dad was short lived though....it came to an abrupt end by his lil bro jumping right off the bed on to the floor head first.  Jordan's first official "goose egg" on his forehead and I'm sure it won't be his last!
